Friends thank you for your continued support....As my time is being saturated with my obligations, I have taken a step back to evaluate those things that are dear and true to my heart. 

You all know me by now and you know that I love a deal....with that being said, I am transitioning from posting daily & weekly deals up.  My heart and love is that of ministry and God is opening some amazing doors, now that does not mean that I will stop completely.  Most of you know that I teach my classes for free and that is because I want to help make a difference in our communities.  I will continue to make that happen and to teach others the basic skills so that too can enjoy the love of saving money.

I highly recommend a few sites that will post up every day a deal...they are: southernsavers.com, afrugalchick.com, afullcup.com and couponmom.com  I have personally found that these sites offer valuable information to consumers such as you and I.

Super Doubles & Coupon Class in Reidsville

If you didn't get your paper on yesterday, hurry up and run to your local distributor.  Super Doubles will begin this Wednesday, August 10th at 7am.  So to recap Super Doubles is where Harris Teeter will double your manufacturer's coupon up to 1.98 there is a limit of 20 coupons per E-Vic customer.

Back to School Deals at K-Mart & Staples

Super Doubles at K-Mart until July 30th......you must use your K-Mart rewards card and they will double your coupons up to .99 (Check your local store for restrictions & exclusions)

Don't miss Staples penny sale

In order to get the highlighters, pencils and index cards for a penny you must make a $5 purchase.  So here's what you do buy the Staples multipurpose paper and get an easy rebate offer for $5.49, then grab your 2 packs a piece of the highlighters, pencils and index cards.  (Limit restrictions not applicable to educators) The easy rebate for the paper is a limit of 2 per household total cost of paper after rebate will be .50 a pack.  Now that's a deal!!  Also 4gb cruzers (thumbdrives) $5.99 and there is not a limit restriction (I asked & I checked the paper, bought 4 of them), now to really make this a sweet deal on the front of the Staples circular is a $5 off coupon on a $25 purchase.....in essence you will get free paper and at least a free cruzer when you combine your savings!!!!!

Coupon Policy Change at Harris Teeter

Shoppers,

Yesterday I met with a manager of Harris Teeter about the coupon policy.  In short they are cracking down on the use of illegal couponing (purchasing an item that is not pictured on the coupon) and the abuse of misusing coupons. (I actually like that they are doing this)

Here is how the conversation started w/a manager that I respect and gives great customer service. (Disclaimer: no one is paying me to say this, he is a great guy!)

I had a great coupon for the V8 Fusion (1.50 plus it was Super Doubles) and then another coupon for a FREE V8 Fusion w/green tea (w/the purchase of 2 regular v8 Fusions).....anyway I proceeded to the check out w/6 total bottles.  I was paying for 4 and getting 2 free, well my friendly csm (customer service manager) said I could only buy 3, no problem, let me just split my order and that led us to go back and look at the policy a little closer.

Highlights to the new policy are:

• Limit of 3 like items but you must use 3 coupons unless the manufacturer's coupon states differently...(P&G limits you to 4 like coupons)
• Cash back is not given & you must pay the sales tax
• Orders can not be split
• E-Coupons do not double

Coupon Policy

Harris Teeter Coupon Acceptance Policy

General We accept coupons that have not passed their expiration date for use; we cannot accept any expired coupons. We accept only one manufacturer coupon per purchased item. We do not accept coupons on items not purchased. Coupons must be presented at time of purchase; we cannot return money for coupons not used. Coupons presented and items purchased must match exactly; size, variety, flavor, etc. We uphold any purchase stipulations set forth by product manufacturer. We accept one coupon per item purchased. We accept coupons for items only of equal or more value; we do not give cash back. Sales tax is paid by customer at full retail. Doubling We accept 20 double coupons per day per customer/household with VIC card; all others redeemed at face value. No orders may be separated that would allow the 20 coupon limit or any other coupon limits to be exceeded. We double manufacturer’s coupons up to face value of $0.99; with total amount not to exceed $1.98 or entire retail of item; whichever is less. We double up to three identical items with manufacturer coupon; additional coupons for like item will be honored at face value. Like items include all flavors. No competitor coupons will be doubled or tripled. Coupons that state “do not double” should not be doubled or tripled. eVIC coupons can be accepted along with paper coupons, however will not be doubled. Internet Coupons We gladly accept internet manufacturer’s coupons for product; however no “free” product internet coupons are accepted. With the purchase of two like manufacturer’s products, we accept two internet coupons, per store, per day. We do not accept internet coupons that do not appear to be originals or that won’t scan. Competitor's Coupons We gladly accept local competitors’ manufacturer coupons. We also redeem circular or direct-mail coupons for money off of the total order. We do not accept any internet coupons from other retailers. Rainchecks Rainchecks never expire and are accepted at any Harris Teeter store. We do not issue rainchecks for coupon items that may be out of stock or for “while supplies last” items. We reserve the right to limit raincheck quantities based on product availability and advertised limits. Rainchecks can be written for a limit of three unless otherwise stated in the ad. Scan Guarantee Our scan guarantee states "If an item scans higher than the shelf tag or sign, you will receive one like item free, excluding alcohol and tobacco." We will honor five "scan guarantees" per customer; all other pricing inadequacies will result in the difference between the shelf tag and the actual price of the item being refunded. Harris Teeter reserves the right to limit quantities in coupon usage, as well as products and to amend our policies as we deem appropriate.
